Hi @faysalorko71,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing touchscreen problems with your HP Pavilion TS Sleekbook 14. Touch screen issues can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to diagnose and potentially resolve the problem. Here's a troubleshooting guide.

Clean the Screen: Sometimes, touch screen issues can be caused by dirt, dust, or smudges on the screen. Use a microfiber cloth to clean the screen gently.

Restart Your Computer: A simple restart can sometimes resolve software glitches that may be causing the touch screen to malfunction.

Check for Windows Updates: Ensure that your operating system is up to date. Sometimes, software updates can fix touch screen issues.

Calibrate the Touch Screen:

  • Press the Windows key and type "Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input" in the search bar. Select this option from the search results.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate your touch screen.

Device Manager Check:

  • Press Windows + X and select "Device Manager."
  • Expand the "Human Interface Devices" section.
  • Right-click on the touch screen device (it might be listed as "HID-compliant touch screen") and select "Disable," then re-enable it.
  • Restart your computer.

Update Touch Screen Drivers:

  • In Device Manager, right-click on the touch screen device, and select "Update driver."
  • Choose to search for updated drivers automatically.

Check for Hardware Issues:

  • If the touch screen still doesn't work after trying the above steps, there might be a hardware problem. Consider taking your laptop to an authorized HP service center for diagnosis and repair.

Check for Physical Damage:

  • Inspect the screen for physical damage, cracks, or any abnormalities that might be affecting touch screen functionality.

System Restore:

  • If the issue started recently after a software update or installation, you can try performing a System Restore to a point before the issue occurred.

Factory Reset (as a last resort):

  • If none of the above steps work, you may need to perform a factory reset. Make sure to back up your data before doing this, as it will erase all data on the laptop.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
