My laptop failed the Hard Drive Short DST Check

Failure ID: M0F84F-894A87-XD7X7F-60QT03

Hard Drive 1

How can this be fixed? Will it be cheaper to replace it or have it fixed?

Thx

@Shakjo

Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char disk failure id indicates the HDD is failing and it needs to be replaced.. Is it still under warranty ? If NOT, you have to replace yourself then rebuild your machine.

For (original) Windows 7 and Windows 10. Please use Cloud Recovery tool:

Oh no! Devastating. It's no longer under warranty. I've had it for 3 years now and it hasn't been a good experience from the beginning seems like. Purchased brand and it was so slow. Thank you does HP repair their computers?
