Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! I hope someone can help me!

I have laptop from my friend with Windows 10, 64-bite. It's a bit old, without inner battery, but still was working fine with cable. So yesterday System started  autoupdating itself. Before I tried to turn it off but I guess it didn't work. So after this update smth went wrong and after I turn on laptop, there appears black screen with loading circle and text 'Undoing changes made to this pc', 'initialising  to fix the problem'. And that's it. I tried already automatic repair and refreshing - didn't work.

I wonder is it possible to restore windows to the same image as before update, with all files on harddrive?

I would be grateful for any kind of help!

Sorry, but the honest answer to your question is -- NO.  You have inadvertently corrupted Windows on the laptop and since Windows Update can not repair that, you will keep seeing the same error message over and over until the screen goes blank.  Windows is not able to repair this on its own.

There are several options, none of which retain the files you have.  All of these options overwrite what is there.  The factory reset options are the best because they reinstall the original HP OEM version of Windows complete with the HP drivers -- and you need these drivers for the laptop to work properly.  The Microsoft ISO process will also reinstall Windows but it won't have the HP drivers; instead, it will have generic drivers for the hardware.

Rather than fill this post with more details you don't need, tell me which of these options you want to pursue.  In all of the cases, you will need access to a working PC because you will have to download several GB of data and then be able to create media on a USB stick -- so you will need a 32GB stick for the factory reset options, and 8GB stick for the MS option.
