Hp 245 notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Few days earlier my notebook says "error no such partition ". Then I reset bios to default. It started saying boot device not found please install an operating system on your hard drive. I took it to a mechanic and he formatted the hard drive. He installed pirated windows 7 ultimate on it. Now I want to upgrade to windows 10 and activating it using DPK stored in BIOS. Is this possible to do? Or Is there any DPK still stired in it? I have hp recovery media but not working.

Because you and your repairer played around with your machine specially BIOS. Hope the repairer did not clear the Wondows key. Now please using the following instructions to create bootable DVD or USB and re-install Windows 10 Pro on your machine

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10

After the installation process, Windows will activate using the key in BIOS (if no damages) and you can install drivers using Windows updates OR using drivers from its sopprt page.

Regards.
