HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 17-cd1163ng

Laut Test kann Windows 11 nicht installiert werden, weil TPM 2.0 fehlt. War kann ich tun? Rechner ist von 2021.

Chapter 1, page 3 of the service manual indicates that the model series should come with a firmware-based TPM 2.0 device.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 17 Laptop PC

Security
Trusted Platform Module (fTPM) 2.0, firmware based

The only suggestion I can offer would be to go into the BIOS, look in the security menu section and see if the TPM security device is disabled.

The TPM security device may also be labeled as an Embedded security device.

If it is disabled, enable it, save the setting and restart the PC.

If the TPM device is enabled, then it is possible that Windows doesn't recognize the firmware based device because most PC's have a hardware based TPM 2.0 device.

You can still upgrade to W11 but you would need to use a workaround that bypasses the W11 hardware checks so you can do an in-place upgrade from W10>W11.

If you are interested in doing that, please let me know and I will give you an easy method to upgrade to W11 on a PC with  W11-unsupported hardware.

Vielen Dank. Was muss ich tun, um dies im Bios zu ändern.

You're very welcome.

I do not know what the settings look like in your notebook's BIOS.

To get into the BIOS, turn on or restart the PC.

Immediately tap...tap...tap...the ESC key to get the menu of options.

Select the F10 Setup option and press the Enter key.

Then you will be in the BIOS.

I would first check the security settings menu because that is normally where the Enable/Disable TPM setting is located.
