Last night, I got my HP laptop for Devry , use for school only.  It simply asked for an update and simply restart to update.  This update was different than any other one before.  This looked old school as in going deep, the bios.  I’m thinking okay.  All the sudden when finished it said issues with TPM.  Select Y to reset TPM or N to keep current.  I tried both cause have flash drive backup of my work.  My pin is gone.  It asked for my password.  I gave it numerous times and said incorrect!! Unbelievably frustrating!!! It’s the end of my classes and want to get things done this week as they end.  I don’t want to go on my kid’s laptops, apple but looks like it.  Appreciate everyone else’s post knowing I’m not the only one having this problem.
