i need help to figure out why the HP support says my product # is invalid when i try to enter it either for trouble shooting or warranty status.Product #on the box i purchased it in matches # on notebook screen.  I followed HP trouble shooting help and obtained a failure ID # QC63UM-93P95P-XD7URA-60TD03.It showed 6 different hardrive failures. Is this a common issue and can i fix it with out having to take it to a shop?

When checking warranty or using the Product Number elsewhere at HP- don't enter the #ABA at end of the number.

The error code you got indicates hard drive failure. HP will replace it under warranty. Start a request for service using the link below. Click "Continue as guest":
