Hello, as a fossilized commercial roofer, I wanted to branch-out into the cybersecurity realm, and to add to my profile in the course, I need to take screenshots throughout the course. I figured out how to take the shots, my issue is that I don't know how to move them into an already existing file after saving them. Sorry, guess I coulda just gone long story short and asked the question, I hope I chose the right category. Thank you in advance

Hi @madmel81,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
To move your screenshots into an already existing file, follow the steps below:
Locate Your Screenshots:
- Open the folder where your screenshots are saved. By default, Windows saves screenshots in the "Screenshots" folder within the "Pictures" directory.
Open File Explorer:
- Open "File Explorer" by pressing Windows + E or clicking the folder icon on the taskbar.
Navigate to Your Existing File:
- Use File Explorer to navigate to the location of the file where you want to insert the screenshots.
- If it's a folder, navigate directly to it. If it's a document (e.g., Word, PowerPoint), open the document using the appropriate application.
Copy and Paste Screenshots into a Folder:
- For a folder, you can drag and drop the screenshots from the source folder to the destination folder.
- Alternatively, you can select the screenshots, right-click and choose "Copy," navigate to the destination folder, right-click, and choose "Paste."
Insert Screenshots into Documents:
- Open the document in the appropriate application (e.g., Microsoft Word).
- Place the cursor where you want to insert the screenshot.
- Navigate to the "Insert" tab at the top of the application.
- Click on "Pictures," then select "This Device" to browse for your saved screenshots. Choose the desired screenshot and insert it into the document.
I hope this helps.
