Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello, I am currently encountering many problems with my HP laptop.

As the title indicates, my taskbar, multiple programs, and recovery option is not working. The only programs that seem to respond are Google Chrome and Microsoft Word. I can't even access the most basic features such as my files, WiFi, cortana, and the windows button. With that being said, I am currently reporting this problem on my cellular device. In addition, I can't identify the product name of this device because it was given to me with all stickers removed and I can not search for it through the system.

I have attempted to completely reset this PC using the f11 method upon starting up the device, with no success. In the process of resetting, the message "there was a problem resetting your PC" appears with the only option to cancel which redirects me back to the "Choose an option" page.

This is extremely frustrating because I have not used this device since school ended almost 2 months ago and I have no idea how this situation came to be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello Cheryl,

No I have not, I have been selecting the restart option above Recovery Manager. I have tried restarting my computer using your method, and now my laptop is working fine again. Thank you!
