The HP Cloud Recovery Tool Wont Recognize My Product ID To Download The Original Windows  Image To Create Bootable USB For My Device

Hi:

 

The reason the  HP Cloud Recovery Tool doesn't recognize your notebook's product number is because HP withdraws support for the Cloud Recovery Tool once the PC reaches 5 years of age.

 

Your only option to reinstall Windows would be to use the Microsoft Media creation tool to create a bootable USB installation flash drive from the link below:

 

Download Windows 10

 

or

 

Download Windows 11

 

After Windows has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page:
