Back again with an update, keep in mind I got this laptop only 1 year and 17 days ago. Software has always been a huge problem from the very beginning with this product. Drivers were throwing errors from the very beginning. It has become the worst piece of technology I have ever owned to date. The boot time is ridiculously long. When turning on the computer it sits at a completely black screen not powered on for 15 seconds then eventually the screen turns on but is still black with no mouse and no text, keyboard and mouse led's are on. I can't access the bios or any other function with F9,F10,F11, when starting it up. It has nothing but problems booting up takes ages. Windows Updates always have errors and never install. Many many drivers have the exclamation point error icon no matter what I do. Nvidia Geforce gpu never works it's like the laptop never was installed with one now. I'm above average when it comes to technology, been fixing computers for many years. Screen flickers many times when booting it up are trying to install updates or what not. Very many graphics and software problems it seems. The fan cooling fan on the laptop doesn't stay in place anymore, comes out of place very often rattles and I have to push it back into its electro magnetic motor. Warranty became obsolete December 24, 2017 and I'm all of a sudden having these issues which I find is quite wierd. I found other cases of this same thing happening coincidentally roughly a month after the warranty ran out. I've performed bios recovery two times, uninstalling graphics drivers reinstalling drivers, registry scans, HP and Windows Troubleshooters many times, reformating my drive three times so far, fresh reinstall of Windows10 three times. I've come to the conclusion there's not a single fix I can possibly do myself. I've had IT specialists even look at it yet still can't seem to find a solution. I can say that for a $1000 price tag you get other systems for much better quality, and HP is not worth it at all. If I think of anything else I'll put it in here, for now this is all I have.

Issue was never resolved, sent it in 22 days ago recieved the same exact laptop I sent in with the same issues. Problems such as no boot and hangs at post were found, and activation error were found but no solution to the problem. There wasn't an attempt on fixing the issue. Got the paper back with my shipment saying repaired when it was in fact not. Cooling fan still sounds like it's going to explode into pieces, gpu is still non existent, and the boot/post time is ridiculously long. The motherboard and fan needed to be replaced and that was all. Almost an entire month later on a repair that takes not even half a day nothing good has come out of it. Now to add to my statement above this HP product is not worth its price tag of $1000 and the companies repair facility is not worth your time.
Thank you, Storm
