Hi @Nsjsjdjjjjjjsb,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I understand you are looking for legacy support on your laptop.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I'm here to help you today.

If you're trying to find legacy support options for your HP laptop, you might be looking for settings related to BIOS or UEFI firmware. Here's how to access those settings and enable legacy support:

Access BIOS/UEFI:

1) Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.(Wait for few seconds post releasing the power button)

2) Turn on the computer and immediately press esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu is displayed, press the f10 to access the BIOS menu.

Find Legacy Support Option:

  • Look for a tab labeled System Configuration or Boot Options.
  • Within that section, you might see an option for Legacy Support or Legacy BIOS. If it’s present, you can enable it.

Change Secure Boot Settings:

  • If you enable Legacy Support, you may also need to disable Secure Boot in the same menu.

Save and Exit: After making your changes, make sure to save them (usually by pressing F10 to save and exit).

Reboot: Your laptop will restart with the new settings.

If you don’t see the option for Legacy Support, it might not be available on your specific model.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
