HP laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Woke up this morning to this message on my laptop:

"This following configuration change was requested for this computer’s trusted platform module (TPM).

Clear TPM"

On the screen are two choices: F1 accept     F2 reject

NEITHER option (F1 or F2) works. I just get a beep.

I have shut down and turned back on...... hitting the ESC key trying to get to the BIOS. Doesn't work. Screen opens with the same blue screen and same message re the TPM.

I've tried ALT+CTL+DEL to get to task manager.......didn't work. Doesn't matter what key on the keyboard I press, I just get a beep.

Suggestions?

TKS

Sharon

Hello @7STAT7

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

You definitely need to choose the F2 option / reject

if you haven't requested this options

It depends on the PC model but sometimes, in order to make it work, you will need to also use the Fn key in combination with the respective F1 or F2 key

Try with that as well
