HP Notebook - 15-bs234wm

I purchased this HP laptop 3 years ago and only recently saw that it's the Home version. It locks up repeatedly for more than an hour!  Though it says' Don't turn off your computer'. Won't shut down after says Updating....

 

Contacted Microsoft last night to get the Product Key so I could change to Windows 10 Pro. After an hour on remote, phone support said it was taking too long and could she please email me the instructions? I tried for the next 2.5 hours and never could get the version I want. 

 

Now I see probably why ONE NOTE wouldn't sync properly with my other 2 computers and why I was constantly embarrassed online in my online classes. Any thoughts?

I'm not finding the place for private messages. On my dashboard I have the serial numbers for my other HP products, but not one for this product. Product number is shown as 3TT19UA. Thanks for responding.
