Hi,
My apologies for taking a few days to come back to you on this, I've not been well and have had a couple of other things I had to deal with.
Regarding the lights on the laptop, and other things -
* If the battery is connected, and the power button is pressed, three white lights flash on the power light. The three flashes are the same length. This happens whether or not the mains power is connected.
* If the mains power is connected and turned on, there is no light in the power led next to the power connection. This is regardless of whether or not the battery is connected. Usually it would be either orange or white depending on how charged the battery is.
*If the power cable is connected, but no battery is installed, and the power button is pressed, then the three lights do not flash. There is literally no response at all.
*There is no power and no lights anywhere else on the laptop. No noise, no lights, literally nothing.
The model number is 15 - p245sa
I hope this helps.
Thank you again 🙂
