Hello. I have such a problem, the thunderbolt port is sometimes disconnected. I did not notice the reasons for the shutdown, it has been happening on different operating systems for several years at random moments.

Update Thunderbolt Drivers & Firmware
- Go to HP Support and download the latest Thunderbolt drivers and firmware for your laptop.
- Install them and restart your computer.
Change BIOS Settings
- Restart your laptop and enter BIOS (F10 on startup).
- Look for Thunderbolt Configuration and enable Pre-Boot Support.
- If available, set Thunderbolt Security Level to No Security or User Authorization.
- Save and exit.
Check for Windows & BIOS Updates
- Run Windows Update and install all pending updates.
- Update BIOS from HP Support (be careful while updating BIOS).
Try a Different Cable or Device
- If possible, test with a different Thunderbolt cable or device to rule out hardware issues.
