Hi @XYCHROM,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

You can easily restore your HP notebook’s touchpad driver by downloading it from HP’s official support site. Here’s how:

Step 1: Go to HP’s Driver Download Page

👉 Official HP® Support

Step 2: Identify Your Device

  • Enter your exact HP Pavilion model number (e.g., Pavilion 15-eh1000, Pavilion x360, etc.).
  • Select Windows 11 as your operating system.

Step 3: Download the Touchpad Driver

  • Expand Driver – Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices.
  • Download the Synaptics, ELAN, or Precision Touchpad Driver listed for your model.
  • Install the driver and restart your laptop.

Alternative Methods

  • HP Support Assistant: If installed, open it and check for driver updates.
  • Windows Update: Go to Settings > Windows Update > Optional Updates and look for touchpad drivers.
  • Device Manager
    • Press Win + X > Device Manager.
    • Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
    • Right-click and choose Update driverSearch automatically.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
