Touchpad gestures are not working on the HP Pavilion 15-cc1xx laptop.

Touchpad Synaptics ps/2 Port Compatible Touchpad

Driver version 18.1.30.7

The gestures on the touchpad of my HP Pavilion 15-cc1xx laptop are not working.

There is no gestures tab in the settings, and there are no toggle switches in the touchpad software. I think the problem is with the drivers because the gestures worked on Windows 10, but now I have Windows 11, and they are not working

The latest synaptics mouse driver is available in the Microsoft Update Catalog.

It's just that I remember there was an additional driver in the *Software components* category like the driver on my device.

I will provide the type *Software components* later when I use the laptop, and if your device requires it.

How to install:

1. Extract both .7z files with WinRAR or other extracting software.

2. Click the *Add drivers* icon and navigate to the folder where you extracted the two files via "Device Manager".

3. If you are required to restart your laptop, just restart it.

With this driver the touchpad does not work at all

means, it doesn't fit🤦🏻‍♂️

"rollback driver" again via device manager category 'mice and other pointing devices'.

After that, roll back, try searching for the 'software components' type driver in the Microsoft Update Catalog. Look for the same version as your laptop's touchpad driver version.

I forgot to give you the Human Interface Devices type touchpad driver, that's why it doesn't work.

but if you want to rollback, that's okay, you just need to look for supporting drivers for the touchpad driver, the Human Interface Devices type touchpad driver and Software components.

Make sure you install the version for the touchpad support driver with the same driver in the mice, and other pointing devices category.

Look at my picture, the left is the properties of the touchpad driver type software components, the middle is the type mice and other pointing devices, the right is the type human interface devices.
