You will need something like this
https://www.amazon.com/MAIWO-NVMe-Enclosure-External-Capacity/dp/B0BF9CFMCC
You will need a new NVME, maybe 1tb. Western Digital and Kingston SSDs have free Acronis cloning software
Attach the new M.2 to the adapter and run the cloning software. Make sure the target or destination drive is the new SSD
When finished, put the new M.2 in the system and save the old one.
The above works but if your 256GB has Optane memory then please read this article by Intel
https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-Optane-Memory/Issues-swapping-Optane-SSD-for-NVME/m-p/1358940
Unless I am mistaken, your product ID is 2D117AV#ABA, and your system has cloud backup. Please go here, enter your Product ID and verify that recovery is available before doing any cloning.
There is a list of SSD that are approved for your system here. The WD or Kingston should work fine. If you want to get an HP labeled disk then pick one from the list. I do not recommend Opteron unless you already have Opteron and want to continue to use that type of SSD.
