Hello,

It sounds like you're having trouble installing Linux on your laptop, despite having successfully installed it on other machines in the past. You've tried multiple distributions, including Zorin OS, Ubuntu, and Vanilla OS, but none of them seem to work.

Assuming you've already created a bootable USB drive or DVD with your preferred Linux distribution and changed your laptop's boot order to prioritize the USB or DVD drive, there are a few things you can try:

Check your laptop's BIOS settings: Some laptops have a "Secure Boot" option in their BIOS settings that can prevent booting from external media. Try disabling Secure Boot and enabling Legacy Boot instead, then see if you can boot from your Linux installation media.

Try a different USB drive or DVD: It's possible that your current installation media is corrupt or not compatible with your laptop. Try creating a new bootable USB drive or burning a new DVD with your Linux distribution.

Check for compatibility issues: Some laptops have hardware components that are not fully supported by Linux, which can cause installation or booting problems. Check the Linux distribution's hardware compatibility list to make sure your laptop is supported.

Try a different Linux distribution: If none of the above steps work, it may be worth trying a different Linux distribution that is known to work well with your laptop's hardware.

Hopefully one of these steps will help you get Linux up and running on your laptop!
