Hi all,
After taking two pictures (sorry, Dutch)
(running HP Support Assistant - HP Performance Tune-up), I tried to to boot up again, but my laptop started recovering (Automatic Repair).
All possible 'Repair-tiles' kept on looping; even tried to recover to default factory settings, but 'Repair-mode' kept on looping.
Managed to install Hiren's BootCD, PE Windows 10 (EFI, USB).
Can I recover my laptop to default factory settings (Windows 11)? Already backed up my files, so that's been taken care of.
Thanks for replying.
Regards,
Luc

Hi, Luc:
See if your notebook is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool.
You can use the HP cloud recovery tool on another PC running W7 64 bit or newer (if your notebook is not working) and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W11, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility.

@Paul_Tikkanen
Hi Paul,
Let me introduce me. My name is Luc Richter.
I had similar issues with my Bitlocker Key and noticed your posts; I imagined you might be able helping me out.
I too was prompted for my Bitlocker Key and manged to access it on my Onedrive when I was trying, in Automatic Repair-mode, to recover my laptop (HP Envy, i7, Windows 11). Unfortunately the Automatic Repair sequence kept on looping, so system recovery was no go.
I ran HP Hardware Diagnostics; all succes, no error messages.
Strangely enough only 'DOS-mode' and EFI USB worked and I managed to start Hiren's BootCD, PE Windows 10 (a rescue OS, initialized from one of the USB ports on my laptop).
Since that Hiren's BootCD worked, is it some how possible to recover my system to factory defaults?
Thank you for replying.
Regards,
Luc Richter
