I am trying to figure out how to download the Windows 10 installation media for my HP 15 laptop. I am needing to install a new hard drive. I am unable to download the media via the HP Cloud Recovery Tool. When I type in the Product, N5Y09UA#ABA, the tool says that is an invalid Product ID and to contact HP Support. That is the Product ID off of the bottom of the laptop. Any advise would be appreciated. I used the cloud tool last weekend to replace a hard drive for an HP ProDesk 400 G6 SFF last weekend without issue. However, the ProDesk is still under warranty and I was able to chat with support. Thank you in advance for you help.

Your machine is an HP 15-F387WM. Please try that, otherwise please use
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
You then can use media created to install Windows 10. Windows will automatically active when online using the product key embedded in BIOS of your machine.
After that, run Windows update few times (say 15 mins apart) to update all drivers. At the end, 1 or 2 drivers missing, please post back, our friends will help you.
Regards.
