I'd like to remove my laptops' 2-in-1 functionality. My HP Envy x360 is great, but I find the 2-in-1 functionality to be more of a nuisance. That is, I've turned Rotation lock on so when I rotate and bend my computer backwards the screen does not change orientation. However, if I rotate my PC above a certain degree the keyboard and trackpad deactivates and the icons in the taskbar and Windows Explorer spaz out, along with the keyboard backlit.
How do I stop this? I deleted a certain UMDF-driver a couple of weeks back and shortly after asking online the issue sorted itself out. After a quick reboot however the issue presented itself again, and I had to yet again ask online to resolve the issue. No replies. Looking for a more sure-fire way to fix my problem.
To be clear, it is the rotation-detection stuff I want gone. As far as it interferes with my everyday desktop-sofa-laptop experience.
Thanks.
