Hey @Yasmani2912,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share your HP unit's serial number or product number with us via private message?

Need help finding your product number? We've got you covered! Check out this handy guide:  Click here

To access your private messages, simply click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile name.

Meanwhile you can try these steps:

Power Off the Laptop:

  • Press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds until the laptop completely shuts down.

Turn on the Laptop and Interrupt Boot:

  • As soon as you turn on the laptop, press the F11 key repeatedly (about once every second) to enter the Recovery Mode. If F11 doesn’t work, you might need to try other keys like Esc or F8.

Disable Automatic Restart:

  • Once in the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE), select Troubleshoot.
  • Go to Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
  • Your laptop will restart again, and a list of startup options will appear.
  • Press F9 to disable automatic restart.

Check Error Details:

  • After the restart, your laptop will no longer automatically restart on a BSOD. Instead, you should be able to see an error message or code. You can note this error code and troubleshoot the cause of the blue screen.

Check for Safe Mode:

  • If you still can’t get past the BSOD, you may need to boot into Safe Mode:
    • Restart your laptop again and press F11 to access Recovery Mode.
    • Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
    • On the next screen, press 4 or F4 to boot into Safe Mode.
    • Once in Safe Mode, you can attempt system repairs or uninstall recently installed updates or drivers that might have caused the issue.

Perform a System Restore (if possible):

  • If you can get to Safe Mode, you can perform a system restore to a point before the issues started.
  • Go to Control Panel > System and Security > System > System Protection > System Restore.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
