I am having issues signing into my HP laptop.  When I request the verification code it says it will send the code to my correct **bleep** address, but it never shows up in my **bleep**.  This is the first time it has happened.

Use another PC and get your email using a browser (firefox, edge, etc).  I am guessing your email application cannot access the imap or pop3 server.

 

I signed up for 2FA on a.t.t. 3 weeks ago and lost all my outlook email as the app password for a.t.t was not longer used.  After a week of no email I deleted my a.t.t accounts and had Microsoft 365 re-created them. No app passwords had to be generated.

 

If you made no change in authentication then there is some other problem but using a browser to login to get email should work.

 

Let me know what you find out.
