So my laptop is HP 255 G8 Notebook, with Ryzen 3 5300U, Radeon RX VEGA 6, 8GB RAM, came with Windows 11 but i installed Fedora 39 etc. etc. So there was UEFI dbx update which i downloaded and then restarted so i can update. After a restart screen was blank for around 10 minutes and i decided to restart it with the power button. I tried entering the BIOS, but when i pressed F10 it just says:
F10... BIOS settings
Something like that. Same with F9:
F9... Change device boot order
And it was just staying like that and doing nothing.
Also i want to mention that when installing Fedora i was doing manual partitioning, and i saw some partitions under unknown which i deleted. Those were two EFI partitions, i only left my flash drive partition. Anyways i later created my own /boot/efi partition. Does this matter? Everything was working fine until this update.
Can i fix this?

Apart from a few Workstations, HP provides no support for Linux.
I mention this because with Windows, we can provide links to videos and HP Documents. We can provide links to HP diagnostic apps you can download and run on your PC. We can provide links to HP drivers and to HP BIOS updates, which you can also download and run on your PC. And, nearly everything useful can be done using an application or utility that HP will provide you for free.
For the general population of HP customers trying to use or install Linux, we have NONE of that. No diagnostics. No videos. No downloadable utilities or tools. And, once you get into Linux, you discover that you have to become VERY familiar with the command line to do anything complicated. We have no command line information available from here.
So when I recommend going to the support forum for your Linux distro, it is because THERE is where you will get the amount and kind of support you need.
Not here -- as the first line at the top says.
