Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap is a BSOD issue that can occur due to various reasons. The most common reason for this error is a faulty RAM module that randomly gives read/write errors. Another cause of the problem may be corrupted or an outdated driver. To fix the issue, you can try the below methods:

  1. Uninstall recently installed programs
  2. Update your device drivers
  3. Use the Blue Screen troubleshooter
  4. Run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool
  5. Disable memory caching in BIOS
  6. Run SFC scan

Hope it will help!
