Please help all my usb ports are not working outside bios setup. I've tried many solutions found online, none of them is working. Above is the test result.
Thanks in advance

Hi @Zippydoug,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I’m sorry to hear that your USB ports aren’t working—this can be quite frustrating.
To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.
- Have you noticed if the USB ports stop working after a recent software update or installation?
- Are you experiencing this problem with all USB devices, or do some work while others do not?
- Have you checked the Device Manager for any error messages or exclamation points next to the USB controllers?
May I have the exact name and product number of the unit? Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

HP Probook 650 G2 with Intel i7 6600U processor
All of them are not working. I tried to resolve by doing the following:
- Reset the Operating system
- Reinstall new Operating system
- Update the Windows
- Download drivers
- Uninstall and Reinstall the drivers
The usb ports only work in bios setup. There is an exclamation mark on USB xHCI Compliant Host Controller.

if u still want windows features try/do this:
- install kde-plasma. to do that type: "sudo apt install plasma"
pros: better performance, can be changed to look like anything u want(eg: windows and macos), has more settings options
cons: has bloatware - install wine. type: " sudo apt install wine"
pros: can run .exe(windows apps)
cons: hard to get internet working
if u want it to look like win 11 or 10 u can search on yt for a toturial
