Product: HP 15-da0xxxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I recently installed Windows 7 Home SP1 on a D partition to enable me to choose which operating system to run at start-up.

After installation many drivers in Windows 7  are missing including the USB drivers. Can't find any suitable drivers.

Could someone point me in the right direction for the missing drivers?

What is the product number of your notebook?

 

The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.

 

Please do not post the serial number.

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook...

It has USB 3.1 ports for which Intel only developed W10 drivers for.

 

I see there is a USB 2 port, so see if installing the latest Intel chipset driver from the link below, gets that port to work.

 

Download, unzip and run the setup application.

There are no graphics, drivers, no wifi drivers, etc. Intel only developed W10 graphics drivers.

 

I can give you the links to the ethernet and SD card reader drivers, but that is about it.

 

Ethernet:  Download, unzip and run the setup application from the W7 driver at the link below.

SD card reader:  Download, unzip and run the setup application from the 1st driver at the link below...

The wifi is working fine - however I still don't have any function of the USB ports? The cable connection for internet also not working but I don't really need that
