Hi, can you please help as I'm a complete technophobe on computers just tried to log in with my password as per usual and a message saying
Your UUID is not supported ...
In simple terms / steps can anyone please assist me to access my files etc.

Have you installed a retail copy of Windows or OEM version of Windows.
Are you trying to login using company account. If so, I would recommend you contact your network administrator or your company administrator.
Please share the product number of your PC to assist you better.
I recommend following the steps in this document on Windows 8, group policy client service failed sign in. This should help to power on your computer and log into Windows successfully.
