Hello.
Installation "from the box" is interrupted. Processor is idle and screen is black.
Started the liveUSB in debug mode. Saw the following message in the kernel log:
...
[ 258.742660] nvme nvme0: controller is down; will reset: CSTS=0xffffffff, PCI_STATUS=0xffffffff
Fixed this by adding to kernel boot parameters - "nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0". After that, OS successfully started.
But now the installation process is interrupted by I\O errors!!!
Help me, please.

Hi
Original OS? FreeDos or W10?
If W10 then install that and run a diagnostic..
Hi
First:- Turn off the computer, press and hold the PWR button for 4 seconds.
Then - Leave only keyboard and mouse connected, disconnect all externally connected
devices such as Docking Station, USB storage devices, displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
Next - Press and Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to Hard Reset.
Rinse and Repeat; Re-Connect the AC adapter.
NOW begin checking/testing/proving the Hardware is fit for purpose.
Power on your PC, press ESC (repeatedly), then F2 at the prompt.
Choose System Tests (Fast Test does a 4 minute hardware check).
AND/OR
HOW DO I USE DIAGNOSTICS?
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows is a Windows-based utility that allows you to run diagnostic tests to determine if the computer hardware is functioning properly. The tool runs within the Windows operating system in order to diagnose hardware failures. HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows comes pre-installed on new HP computers, but if not on yours, download here:-

What/Which OS are you trying to install? AND why DEBUG mode rather than normal?

Preinstall FreeDOS. I'm trying to install Linux\Ubuntu 18.04 LTS from liveUSB. "Debug mode" is loading kernel with parameters "single nomodeset modprobe.blacklist=radeon,amdgpu". This is necessary to see the log of kernel messages.

Already did. All tests were passed successfully

Hi
opensuse 11 needed a command added at install time of NoModeSet
Because the graphics did not match.
Why don't you try Debian or Fedora or openSuSE to overcome the problem.
Lubuntu or linuxMint are from the same stable.

Hi
So it seems like you have a PC with a graphics chip set that is NOT linux friendly, even acpi=off doesn't help.
Therefore --- https://ubuntuforums.org/ is the place to go to.
