Ubuntu 20 hp installation proble I have been trying to install ubuntu on my computer for a long time. I have a hp pavilion 15-b030st device 64 bit windows 10 installed. I tried to install ubuntu 18 and 19 versions on my same computer before. I had the same problem. I'm coming to the installation options. I say erase the entire disk and install a new Ubuntu. comes to the loading screen. After half of it says copy to disk is finished wait and the computer crashes in the meantime. I looked at the questions asked to hp support. The following suggestion was made to a person who encountered the same problem. Enter the BIOS. legacy mode is on. Let the secureboot feature be off. same as my BIOS settings. But there was no solution and it was locked in the same place. nvida has 1050 video card. It has 240GB SSD and 1TB HDD. I got the same error when I wanted to install it on both disks. I can't load ubuntu for 2 years. Help please.

I'm sorry, but HP only warranties their PCs for usage with the OS that comes preinstalled.
IF you replace that with a Linux distro, or add a Linux distro, then you assume full responsibility for maintaining that -- including solving any problems with booting the other OS and/or installing the other OS.
Your best bet for support with issues with Linux is to contact the support forum of the distro you are using.
Since you are using Ubuntu, go here: https://ubuntuforums.org/
Good Luck

Thank you for your answer.
I need to say two pieces of information again
1- My laptop model is HP 15-cb005nt. I misspelled the model number in my previous message.
2- I thought I had touched on my previous message. But I bought this computer without operating system installed. So I bought this device as Freedos.
