Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0000 (9WF74AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Error message:  0x80780119 -- There is not enough disk space to create the volume shadow copy on the storage location.

Fact 1: there is more than enough needed memory.

Fact 2: the process works fine on our two Dell computers with less SSD available space. My new HP Pavilion Laptop 15-EG0167ST has more available SSD space than our other home computers, yet this HP system image create fails.

Fact 3: My HP full software and hardware support could not answer this question and so I posted on this forum.

 

It would be nice to be able to perform this system image backup to have it on hand if needed. It defeats the entire purpose of having this capability if one cannot create a backup System Image to begin with.
