Hello,
my boss bought a laptop for me and before activating the license, logged in with a M365 account. Now the laptop has Windows 11 Enterprise which I dont need. I cant find an activation key for Windows 11 Pro although I purchased one. Is there any way to accomplish this?
Thank you and best regards
Igor

Hi, Igor:
Download and install the free Showkey plus app from the Microsoft Store:
ShowKeyPlus - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
If the notebook originally came with W11 Pro from HP, there should be a Windows OEM product key in the BIOS and the version of Windows the key is good for.
If there is a W10/W11 Pro product key in the BIOS use the Microsoft media creation tool to create a bootable USB installation flash drive to clean install Windows as you cannot do an in-place downgrade from Enterprise to Pro simply by changing the product key.
If the notebook does not have a product key in the BIOS clean install W11 and when you get to the part that asks, 'Where do you want to install Windows,' Select W11 Pro, and then when it asks you to enter a product key, enter the W11 Pro product key you purchased.
