Product: HP Envy m6-k010dx Sleekbook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there, 

 

I have an HP Envy that won't boot into the OS. I have tried the BIOS recovery on HP's support page using a USB drive, but it unfortunately wasn't successful.

 

Any tips as of where to take it from here? I don't mind getting a new laptop, but I do have some personal data on the laptop that I'd like to retrieve first. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Why does everyone seem to think that BIOS flashing is the cure to everything?  BIOS recovery has nothing whatsoever to do with being unable to boot into Windows -- they are totally different issues.

 

What is happening when you try to boot into Windows?
