Product: HP Pavillion

My HP Pavillion will not charge or turn on: 

When I plug it in for charging, the led turns orange- I can disconnect the battery and then the charging light is white, however the power button does not illuminate at all, nor does the screen. 

Has anyone else had the same issues and know how to resolve it?
