I am unable to update the Windows 10 version 1903 / 1909. The update repeatedly fails at the installation level of around 21% and rolls back to previous version 1803. There is adequate hard disk space and no issues with the anti virus. Please help

Have you tried using the Windows Update Troubleshooter? To access it on aWindows 10, press the Windows key or click on the start menu, next navigate to "Settings" then to "Update & Security". Click on the "Troubleshoot" option, once there click on "Windows Update" and under the "Get up and running" section locate "Run the troubleshooter" option. This should, hopefully, solve your problem.

Hi,

Are all the drivers updated?

I would also install the latest BIOS

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-15-ba000-notebook-pc-series/10862317/m...

Are you upgrading with external media? Remove all SD cards and USB peripherals before trying to update.

You can update from here on Microsoft site by clicking on Update now

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

You could also perform a clean install of the OS and then move your files back on to the PC.

Hope it helps,

David
