Is your printer working? If so I would ignore that error. If not-right click and Uninstall the unknown device. Restart the laptop to see if any change.

You can load and reinstall the drivers as many times as you want before you take a gun and shoot the machine.
The problem is that Microsoft is controlling the error message, and wishes the world to use the "cloud" method for everything. My printer is connected by the network, it reads unavailable, not connected and I still print. The error is a pain, and the invasion of privacy, controlling issues and the violation of the AntiTrust Agreement they signed should be of more concern to everyone, since this is just an example of Microsoft trying to dictate how you function.
