Microsoft Windows 11

After an RAM upgrade, I need to change the RAM speed and I simply cannot access Advanced Bios Configuration to adjust the speed from 3200 to 2666Mhz.

Although simple, I've seen several forums and topics, but I simply can't access the Advanced  confugurations of my BIOS. First time I have come across this type of situation with a hardware company - HP.

It's my notebook, I need it and I must have access to its settings.  - Meanwhile my windows keeps giving me a blue screen 😞

Hi @Vagnercda,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are looking for BIOS advance settings for your Laptop.

Kindly refer to the below steps and let me know if that resolves the issue.

  • Boot up your computer and then quickly keep tapping the F10 key to get in to BIOS.
  • If you find the Advanced settings tab missing in the BIOS, that is because your manufacturer has locked the settings on your computer as the improper use of the Advanced settings in BIOS could damage your computer, and there is no way to unlock it.

Refer to the steps on this link to access the BIOS available options.
