Good afternoon

I bought a gaming laptop with  lot of ''power'' because Im a Vj (Video Dj). One of the things I have to do in order for all software and hardware to work in harmony is the so called optimization. In this optimization procedure Im obliged to shut down any unnecessary applications running. Video processing requires a lot of resources and Im really wondering which ones are not essential for my Windows to run smoothly. HP has a lot of applications running in the task manager. Can you please give me a couple of tips on which of those apps I can disable and how I can disable them from startup.

Im using Serato Video software for the videos

Thanks in advance

All Windows system applications are necessary. I don't think any HP applications needs to be running in the background for proper functioning of the system. If you can share screen shot of task manager or installed programs, I would be able to give some suggestions.

To disable startup programs, I use this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns

Be cautious, do not disable system programs or drivers.
