OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-c0000 (343L2AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello there,

That's my last try before giving up with this problem I am dealing with since 3 months.

About 2 years ago I bought an Omen 16, great laptop at the beginning. However, 1 year after, the laptop became unusable, due to a BSOD Critical Process died followed by Hard Disk (3F0) error. I sent the laptop to the assistance, and was sent back with the problem solved. Basically the motherboard was changed. Another year passed, and suddenly the thing started over. Still under warranty, but this time sending the laptop was much more complicated. I had to talk for days and days on WhatsApp to get assistance and trying to do everything to solve the issue. After failures in all the attempts, the laptop went to assistance, and then sent back with the problem considered "solved". The problem was not solved at all, the error appeared again at the very first attempt to use the laptop. I tried to contact again the assistance to get help, but I just received exactly the same suggestions as before. After that (of course) these attempts didn't work they said that I cannot send it back to assistance but I have to call (to be paid by me) the technician that worked on it. I don't know what is the purpose of it...and I have no time anymore for that, since it's s crazy time for me now at work. Along with that, I was contacted via email by another service of assistance from HP , but after a couple of messages, they disappeared. Now I have a 2k laptop unusable at home, and you cannot imagine how many problems this is causing me, since I am supposed to use it both for personal and also professional reasons. What else I am supposed to do ? I am just tempted to go to the shop and by another laptop (for sure not hp)....I am truly disappointed. Thanks for everyone will come with suggestions and help.

Hi @Simon_VII,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with your Laptop that has an hard disk error.

A) Perform a power drain on your PC.

1) Unplug the power cord from the PC & wall.

2) Disconnect the power cable from the AC adapter if it is a detachable part and keep it aside.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the AC adapter, then connect it to the wall and to the charging port on your PC.

5) Power on the PC and check if it boots into Windows now.

B) If the issue still persists, refer to the steps on this link to troubleshoot and let me know if that resolves the issue.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
