Probook 470
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello.

I tried the utility to check if my HP Probook 470 G2 was ready for Windows 11.

It gave a message that ik need to update from version 1.2 to 2.0 to get the update.

Is there someone who can explain how i caan do this?

Currently i'm running bios 01.54

Thanks for your help.

Hi:

Unfortunately, the TPM 1.2 hardware your notebook has is too old for the upgrade to 2.0.

See the list of HP PCs that can have the TPM upgraded to 2.0:

If you are willing to clean install W11, you should be able to get it to work.

See this article.  3rd headline from the bottom.

I'm running W11 on an old HP 8200 Elite with an i7-2600 processor and it works fine.
