MS came out with new, some say arbitrary, requirements for Win11 installation. Not for operation of Win11; just for installation. If your model fails any of the requirements, you can not install it using Windows Update as that will not do the update.
There are ways around that, but personally, I do not condone that with laptops, so I do not provide any instructions for doing that.
Also, I run Wn10 and Win11 on several PCs, including laptops, and have not seen any performance gain of Win11 over Win10 on any of them. So, if you are expecting a Win11 upgrade to fix a performance issue, this is not going to happen.
