I recently replaced some of the old hardware in my old HP Notebook 15-bw with a new SSD & 16Gb of RAM.
After I finished installing Windows, I went to the HP website to check all drivers, and installed some things from tehre, which included an update to the BIOS.
Now though, everytime the machine is rebooted, it takes an incredibly long time to get to the logo screen and to laod into windows. It never did this before the BIOS update.
I have tried to reset the CMOS using varions methods, but nothing has worked, and it is still incredibly slow.
Is there any older versions of the BIOS out there that I could get a copy of to load on to it? Or is there a setting I am missing to enable ot make sure it loads in faster?
