HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-g121wm (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I updated LibreOffice and now laptop won't reboot, pretty sure because bios is outdated. It has F.45 but needs F.45 Rev.A, but I can't find it on HP site. When I put my computer model in HP Software and downloads, it says no software updates for it, maybe because it's 8 years old.  I tried to find it from someone else's question about it, but HP Support screen says it's temporarily unavailable. I tried rebuilding the bios, says it was successful, but still wouldn't reboot.

I can get to Startup Menu, but when I press F11 for system recovery, it goes to blue screen to restart, stop code ACPI BIOS ERROR. I created a Windows 10 bootable thumb drive off of my new HP Omni, changed boot order to thumb drive, but still goes to blue screen restart. I think I need the newer bios on the thumb drive, but I can't find it. I'm no computer guru, so any corrections to my actions or further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Every HP BIOS file has a Revision A after the number.

In other words, F.45 = F.45 Rev.A.

HP has retired support for the model series since it is more than 10 years old.

F.45/F.45A is not the latest BIOS version.

Below are the info and exe file links to the last BIOS update HP released for your notebook:

(F.54):
