Product: HP laptop, 7th generation, i3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an hp laptop of windows 10 of 7th gen i3. It is of too old version 1709. Can I directly update windows 10 1709 version directly to 20h2 or not. 

If not tell me how to update 20h2 from 2709.

It is much better to install current version (21H1) using

 

                     https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

 

to create ISO file then mount ISO file as DVD drive and run Setup from there.

By default it will keep all your files and programs BUT please check before go to next step.
