HP Envy x360 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 16-ac0000 (9D0T1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Java Code Geeks offers Windows 11 Pro + Office 2021 Pro for a nice price. I would like to use this offer to upgrade my Envy to Windows 11 Pro from Windows 11 Home. Can I use this upgrade for my Envy? And if I do does this influence my extended warranty for support?

Hi @PIESynergy

Yes you can make it, the change of operating system does not influence the warranty, the warranty is on the hardware.

You can upgrade Windows from Home to Pro. Don't need to reinstall. You just need to turn off wifi, change Windows key to temporary Windows 11 Pro key (MS Support can pass you one of them) and restart system. After this your system will be upgraded from Home to Pro. Next step you just activate Windows with key you got from your company.
