Hi,

I have the Notebook G42-271BR with original Windows 7 Home Basic 64bits and I would like to kwon if it is possible to make the upgrade for Windows 11.

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, you can't upgrade to W11 unless your notebook has W10 running on it.

 

Also, your notebook meets none of Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements:

 

Windows 11 System Requirements - Microsoft Support

 

Your notebook was not supported by HP for W10 and the free upgrade period from W7>W10 has expired.

 

You would have to buy a W10 license and product key to upgrade to W10.
