Product: Pavilion TS 14
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have tried to upgrade to W10 but after upgrade, the system hangs up and is very slow. Can not find drivers for W10.  Please help. This is a Touch screen and should be able to run W10.

 

Currently running 8.1 (had to go back) which works great.

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Touch screens actually came out in force with Windows 8 -- when Microsoft was convinced everyone had a touch screen tablet and no longer needed a Start Menu!

 

As you noticed, there are no HP Win10 drivers for your PC -- and HP is no longer producing Win10 drivers for the older PCs.

 

Here is the link to the Win8.1 drivers for your PC: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-TouchSmart-14-f000-Sleekbook/5375396/mod...

 

If those don't work in Win10, then you're out of luck and should not Upgrade.

Thanks for the input. Hp used to go back 3 releases in providing drivers. So I'll try the 8.1 drivers and hope it works.

This issue appears to be related to the video drivers for the AMD video card on the processo, BIOS maybe?
when the video drivers are uninstalled it runs fine until they are re-installed then it starts freezing again

I'm trying to solve this issue at the moment.
