HP EliteBook 840 G1

My PC contains Security processor details as follows:

Manufacturer: Infineon (IFX)

Manufacturer version: 4.32

Specification version: 1.2

PPI specification version: 1.2

TPM specification sub-version: 2, 3

Is there is the way to upgrade HP EliteBook 840 G1 TPM 1.2 to 2?

Hi:

Unfortunately, the TPM 1.2 hardware version your notebook comes with is too old to be upgraded to 2.0.

Below is the link to the list of HP business notebooks and desktops that can have the TPM 1.2 upgraded to 2.0.

Thank you, Paul, for your replying

Unfortunately, the listed TPM FW BIN files are incompatible with My HP EliteBook 840 G1. I have already checked these TPM FW BIN files.

I have got sp82407.exe. it upgraded to 4.34 on my laptop but I can't able to remove the owner password from the PC.  I clear the TPM but when I try to install the setup it again asks the owner password.

please help.

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I would not be able to help you with clearing any passwords.
